Alongside Bristol City Robins Foundation, Winford Primary School raised over £2000 in a fund-raising sponsored penalty shoot out
As the 17th UEFA Euro Championship heats up, Winford C of E Primary School has embarked on their very first Football Fundraiser. Pupils from Reception to Year 6 formed an allegiance with the Robins Foundation, Bristol City’s charity that works with the local community to raise funds and inspire young people!
And inspire they did, Red and his friends visited Winford Primary with a large inflatable goal! The pupils in each class took it in turns to excitedly score many goals. As the ball hit the back of the net, the children cheered one another on to raise well over £2000! The money is split equally between the Robins Foundation and the school PTA to further give young people fantastic opportunities inside the classroom and beyond. A huge thank you to all who have supported our Fab Football Fundraiser.
